Summer Hours 2026
The Gatton Student Center and campus partners have announced adjusted summer operating hours beginning Saturday, May 9, to help students, faculty and staff plan ahead.
The Gatton Student Center building will operate daily from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. throughout the summer.
Additional campus resources and support offices will maintain the following summer hours:
- MLK Center: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- LGBTQ* Center: 8 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.
- Center for Student Involvement: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- TRACS: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- POWER: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Financial Wellness: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- UK Counseling Center: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Student Organizations and Activities: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Visitor Center: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Alumni Gym: 6 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- UK Apothecary: 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- PNC Bank: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- UKCU: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Bookstore/Café: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Passport Office: By appointment
The following locations will remain closed during summer operations:
- Subway
- Panda
- Auntie Anne’s
- Blenz
Scheduled Building Closures
- The Gatton Student Center will also be closed on the following dates:
- Memorial Day Weekend: Saturday, May 23 – Monday, May 25
- Juneteenth: Friday, June 19
- Independence Day: Friday, July 3 – Saturday, July 4
Additional summer schedule adjustments include:
- The Bookstore will open at 7:30 a.m. during Big Blue Nation Orientation (BBNO).
- The Gatton Student Center will resume extended hours of 7 a.m. – 12 a.m. beginning Saturday, Aug. 15.
These modified summer hours ensure essential services remain available while accommodating seasonal campus operations.
