Everything You Didn't know You Could Do At Gatton
The Gatton Student Center is one of the busiest hubs on the University of Kentucky’s campus. However, it’s more than just a place to grab food or study in between classes, it’s the living room of campus. Hidden throughout the building are some incredibly useful resources and fun opportunities that many students don’t even know exist.
From the Wildcard ID office, located on the third floor to the neighboring UK Campus Housing office. The Apothecary Pharmacy, Wellness and Financial Centers and more, our facility offers the essential stops to ensure your success while traversing your studies.
Aside from running errands, there is much more to do in the Gatton Student Center! Promoting an entertaining environment and true living room experience, Worsham Cinema regularly hosts movie nights with free popcorn for students. During basketball season, you can catch afternoon games right from the staircase lounge or in the Cats Den, turning a casual pass-through into a front row seat game day experience!
Gatton is also working to make it easy to stay connected throughout campus. The touchscreen TVs scattered around the building allow students to browse for upcoming events using BBNvolved. If you're looking for something to do, swing by the information desk. You can rent board games or just ask about what events are happening throughout the student center. For a more direct game time with your friends, check out the Cats Den to use our Ping Pong tables or Nintendo Switch.
For a quieter moment, take a walk by the Harris Ballroom and check out the Great Hall Art Gallery, a hidden gem that showcases wildcats’ creative talent. And when it's time to hit the books, don't forget that Gatton has reservable study rooms that are available throughout the second floor.
Whether you’re running errands, meeting friends, or just looking for a spot to hang out, there’s way more to discover what’s wildly possible in the Gatton Student Center.
